Das Thema, das er in der ersten Edition nur stiefmütterlich behandelt hat und das dann irgendwann in “The Legend of the Five Rings” irgendwie aufgegangen ist, wird nun in der 2. Edition von 7te See ein eigenes Thema.
Erst wenige Stunden alt, ist das Fundingziel von 50.000$ mit 675 Backern bereits erreicht. Die Kampagne läuft noch 40 Tage und die CF-Welt schielt gespannt darauf, ob John Wick seinen ersten Erfolg tippen kann.
Die 11.500 Backer des ersten Kickstarter aus 2016, bei der John über 1,3 Millionen Dollar einsammelte bekamen alle eine persönliche Nachricht:

Finally, let’s spend a moment talking about PDFs. We’ve heard a request regarding 1st and 2nd Edition PDFs as part of the rewards: folks are saying, “I already have these PDFs!” We love our backers, so we wanted to both explain our thinking and figure out a way to make the project work for folks without adding another set of alternate reward tiers.
When we designed those goals, we included the PDFs for new players who didn’t have them as an incentive to buy in to the Kickstarter and become part of the 7th Sea community. We want all of our backers to use all the 2nd Edition sources for their games, including material from the lands of Théah. Of course, many of our returning backers already have those PDFs!
So, we have a solution. If you already have the PDFs you want and you’re backing at $60 or more, you can exchange your 1st or 2nd Ed PDFs for a featured add-on (dice, hero points, etc.) once the campaign is finished. We’ll do this through Backerkit—which makes the process easy. You pick the add-on (instead of the PDFs) and we’ll include it in your rewards or just tell us that the PDF bundle works for you. That way, both new backers and returning backers can get a little something extra along with their hardcover book without ending up with a reward you’ve already got.
We can’t update the $60+ reward tiers to reflect this change, but we’ll be adding a note to the Kickstarter page. If you see anyone who is still confused about this change, please point them at this update. Thanks!
Ich finde die Bilder total geil. Allerdings werde ich nicht mitmachen hier, da Pegasus zeitlich sehr nah dran ist mit Übersetzungen und dann auch noch preislich deutlich günstiger liegt als die amerikanischen Originale. Nach Preiserhöhung nun bei 24,95€ für die deutschen Bücher gegenüber 40€ und mehr für die amerikanischen.
